Milwaukee, a little closer3 days in Milwaukee: a World Series itinerary
A three-day Milwaukee itinerary for World Series visitors: where to stay, game day at American Family Field, the lakefront, and brewery stops.
Where to stay
Downtown and the Historic Third Ward put you near restaurants and the Riverwalk, about ten minutes from the ballpark by car. The Potawatomi Casino Hotel in the Menomonee Valley is one of the closest large hotels to American Family Field. Book early — World Series weekends sell out.
Day 1 · Downtown & the Third Ward
Start with lunch at the Milwaukee Public Market, then wander the Historic Third Ward galleries and shops. Walk the Riverwalk at dusk and say hello to the Bronze Fonz.
Day 2 · Game day
Spend the morning at the Harley-Davidson Museum in the Menomonee Valley, then head to American Family Field early. Tailgating is a big part of the experience; check current parking and lot rules first.
Day 3 · The lakefront
Visit the Milwaukee Art Museum around midday to see the wings open, take a walk through Veterans Park, and finish with a Lakefront Brewery tour and a Friday fish fry if your timing works.
Confirm current opening hours, tickets, access rules, and transport before visiting.
